The results of the third day of the Western Tournament are: The B.C. One team, captained by Paul Bilderback, remains the leader in the black division. The Arizona Scorpions, captained by Gene Denny, are in second place, and the Arizona Rattlers, captained by the Western Shuffleboard Association President, Scott Davenport, are in third place. B.C. One has been in first since day one. In the red division, the Alberta Grizzlies, captained by Jack Sell, have taken over the lead after a slow start. The Washington Huskies, captained by Chuck Crouse, are in second place, and the Colorado Rockies, captained by Carol Dunn, are currently in third place.
The weather for the tournament has been really great. It has been in the low to mid 70’s (Fahrenheit) for the first three days, however, yesterday we did experience some wind problems. All-in-all the tournament is going very well and all the shufflers seem to be enjoying the competition.
