CSA Hall Of Fame

“On November of 1964 the board of governors adopted a resolution creating the Hall of Fame For the California Shuffleboard Association. Each year a special committee would select not to exceed three individuals who have given outstanding service to the promotion of shuffleboard in all of its activities. A certificate would be given for sportsmanship and outstanding service and a button to be worn as a coat lapel. The first committee consisted of 3 members. The first Hall of Fame members were inducted in 1965. The Hall of Fame resided in Manteca, California until 2003 at which time it was moved to Golden Village Palms Shuffleboard Club In Hemet, Ca.” (unknown author).

Since then, Golden Village Palms was privately purchased and is no longer an active Shuffleboard Club. Also, the HOF documents were damaged by water which (then) CSA President Carol Blasingame stepped in to save.

The board decided to move the Hall of Fame, and upload it online. On January 20th, 2024 we removed all of the pictures and paraphernalia from GVP and moved the antique Shuffleboard Cues to Hemet Municipal, with the rest in storage while being digitized.

So here is the modern CSA Hall of Fame. Enjoy!
