DISTRICT 7 ROOKIE TOURNAMENT

Last Saturday’s rookie tournament, held at Hemet West, started bright and early with 39 of District 7’s, new this year, players. Due to time constraints, it was a single elimination tournament. Lose one and you’re done. At the end of the day, these four ruled the boards. Sundays Championship game had these results:Right to left:  Jackie Gilbert, 2nd; Art Leseberg, 4th: Susie Welskopp. 3rd; and Sandy Blake, 1st.  Sandy is from GVP White Team and the other 3 are SDSE Purple.
