SDSE   a Citadel of Championships!

From  August 22-24, 2016, SDSE Shuffleboard Club hosted the annual Maxine Trachsel Memorial Tournament.

History was made: Of the 64 entries, the championship bracket was made up of 4 winners, all of the same club; that being one SDSE team. This is unprecedented in shuffleboard competition!

ATM’s were Lynda Goggin, principal ATM and Helen Noeltner, her assistant. Smoothly formatted and updated tournament, ladies.

Vicki Dumars, club president, assured players of a nice lunch selection each day.

Boards were maintained by Al Elias, Robert Brooks and Paul Epps. Head ref was George Hayner while Karla Winget attended to the job collecting and certifying score cards.

Many gift certificates were contributed by these merchants or organizations: Arturo’s Pizza, Dickey’s BBQ, Marcos Pizza, Appleby’s Restaurant, Milano’s Pizza, Hemet Bowling and SDSE Shuffleboard club for 3 free entry fees for next year’s  tournament   .
