DISTRICT 5 EARNS THE DESERT CHALLENGE PLAQUE

FOR THE 2024-2025 SEASON

Forty District 5 shufflers competed against 40 District 7 shufflers in the annual Desert Challenge. The event was hosted by District 5 this year at Royal Palms in Cathedral City, CA. District 5 provided the referees and scorekeepers for the event which used 10 boards at 9 AM and 10 boards at 1 PM.

Cake was furnished by District 5 during the lunch break between the 2 sets of games.

Congratulations to the 40 shufflers in District 5 who shuffled their way to win the event with 22 wins and 18 losses. In 2026, the event will be hosted by District 7 in the Hemet area.
